Nandos Opens Chermside Flagship

The Nando’s restaurant chain recently opened its largest Australian store yet at the Westfield Shopping Centre in the Brisbane northern suburb of Chermside.

Occupying more than 200sqm, the store has been billed as a flagship for not only Queensland, but also Australia.

True to the unique flavour of Nando’s, the store’s design uses only authentic materials and includes a combination of recycled timbers, natural stones, and a reed ceiling to create a warm, comfortably rustic ambience.

Mark Retail would like to congratulate local owner Sanjay on the opening of Chermside – his fourth Nando’s restaurant and look forward to sharing a meal with him here in the future.

Hungry Jacks New Melbourne Airport Site

The latest store for national hamburger chain Hungry Jacks is due to open shortly at Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport.

Designed by Mark Retail, this store has been relocated from a previous tenancy resumed for terminal expansion and will replace the noodle restaurant Billie Chu in its new home.

The new store will continue the strong retail image of the Hungry Jacks livery, and in addition will offer tarmac views from its dining area.

Completion is expected by the end of November in time for the busy holiday travel season.

Pasta Pantry Delivers on Fresh Tasting Family Value

Lovers of great pasta are welcoming the recent opening of the latest Pasta Pantry store at Rosalie in Brisbane’s inner west.

As many avid followers of the stores in Sydney will attest, Pasta Pantry offers a fantastic selection of take-away pasta meals at great prices to make the mouth water and keep the wallet full.

C'est La Vie Cafe goes from strength to strength

This long-time favorite cafe of Indooroopilly locals has occupied the Level 3 tenancy since original construction in the 90's.

Requiring a major refurbishment, new owners provided Mark Retail with the challenge of updating the look while keeping the theme that many customers had come to love.

Design solutions included removal of an existing shopfront bar area which has opened up the entire frontage for table seating and installing new feature lighting elements to add atmosphere and dramatically improve the appearance from the mall.

Along with new branding, menus, and furniture items, the new design is sure to help C'est La Vie remain Indooroopilly Shopping Centre's most popular casual dining destination.
